Food Charter Takes A Healthy Bite
Since its launch less than three years ago, the Greater Merseyside
Food Charter has been awarded to more than 100 schools, nurseries,
restaurants and a host of other venues that have been assessed and
able to prove that their food is healthy and nutritious.
Our recently launched newsletter, A Healthy Bite, provides
a platform for news, views and debate on food issues and gives
Charter recipients a chance to share good practice and network. It
will also keep them updated on the latest food-related health
campaigns and food regulations.
If anyone has any newsworthy items they would like to share or has
a particular theme they would like to have covered in a future
edition of A Healthy Bite, please get in touch with Gemma
Weston, Food Charter Co-ordinator, on 0151 928 7820.
