not been physically active for some time check with your GP
beforehand.

mind
-
Use the stairs instead of the lift or escalator.

Taking the bus? Get off one or two stops before your
destination and
walk the rest of the way.

Most car journeys are made within a short distance of home -
so leave the car and walk or cycle.

the time to do it.
-
Walk the dog or walk the children to school - it's good
for them and you.
-
Swimming is great for the heart.
-
As you improve your general stamina you can increase your
level of activity.
-
Dust down the bikes and take your family on an organised
cycle ride in
your area.
-
You're never too old to start. 'Safe chair'
