Recognising the need for us all to lead healthier lives by eating and drinking sensibly and taking more exercise will help to minimise the impact of many lifetstyle and chronic diseases including heart disease, diabetes, obesity and respiratory conditions. The Heart of Cheshire partnership with the Heart of Mersey provides an excellent programme of activities to enable us to live healthier longer lives combined with the emotional impact of the "heart" to encourage us to avoid life limiting complications from all these conditions. This is why the Heart of Cheshire has my full support.

John Church

Chair of NHS Western Cheshire

Heart of Cheshire is a central part of our programme to support people to make healthier choices.  It supports the delivery of our core purpose to enable people to live longer healthier lives, helping us to promote healthy lifestyles to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. I am very pleased we have been able to build a partnership with an experienced group of people in Heart of Mersey on this very important aspect of our work.
